If you are anything like me, you need all the help you can get when it comes to adding and editing code in WordPress.
Whilst I have a good understanding of HTML and CSS, I would be the first to admit that my knowledge of PHP is limited at best. I can produce simple shortcodes, and that is about it.
One thing I have found that has helped me out enormously in terms of making code more readable (and therefore easier to edit) is Advanced Code Editor. It is still very much under the radar, with under 19,000 downloads at the time of writing, but that should not detract from the plugin’s usefulness. A near perfect rating on the WordPress Plugins Directory attests to that.
