New Twenty Twelve Default WordPress Theme Now Available for Download

The new Twenty Twelve default theme is now available for download from the WordPress Theme Directory. A couple months ago we gave you a Sneak Peek at the Twenty Twelve theme and since then many of our readers have been eagerly awaiting the release of this fully responsive theme.

A live demo of the theme is available at WordPress.com. Its most notable features include a front page template with a its own widgets, an optional display font, styling for post formats on both index and single views, and an optional no-sidebar page template. Check out the full list of features on the Twenty Twelve homepage.

You’ll find the new default theme rolled into the WordPress 3.5 download package, but in the meantime you can download it separately from wordpress.org.

    • Easy to customize in what way? How do you customize the sidebar from being on the right side to left side. I like my sidebar to be on the left side but you can’t in 2012 or at least I can’t see it anywhere.
