Oh also keep in mind that once the settings are ok it may start sending newsletters in queue... it may actually started sending when you switched to phpmail but its better to use smtp anyway

Banned Names,Users are not allowed to register these sites. Separate names by spaces. I want to add 500 keywords to banned names,to reserve user name/sub-domains. Just to check that I didn't have a plugin that was hijacking things I just tried a clean install. Loaded Showcase, then deleted all other themes and plugins.

Loaded a featured image to the existing "hello world" post and.....

drum roll......

same problem, so you are right it's a bug in the theme.

Pity because the slider looks really nice.

I'm holding my breath now! So please ask the developer to not take too long.

sending 'preview' via gmail smtp throws error... tripple checked settings... I have gmail business mail on my domain...

so I was thinking.... why don't we redesign the theme option page but instead of having links to header etc etc where the user has to physically leave the page all the time,.... why not create tabs instead.

boom user doesn't have to loose themselves on the wizard and it may be better user experiance all around

What do you mean by test? preview?

try sending a email to your self with "send newsletter" button and not "add newsletter to cron list"

Hmm, it depends on how you want to redeem the gift certificates and they'll be created, if after purchased a script will be called to generate the certificate and email it automatically depending on successful payment? As was you looking for the gift certificates to be a separate gateway in a way? As then It'll need to hook into another gateway, PayPal, Stripe etc, for people to be able to pay the balance difference between them or get the remainder of their certificate back in a new voucher?

So in a way, with membership and marketpress, are these recurring products going to be shippable or are they digital products etc?

Yes, when sending preview, it gets sent using phpmail...

Ups... now it throws error... Called mail() without being connected... this is when sending via gmail smtp...

One more thing - don't worry about time UTC is what WP is using under the hood. I will actually add this message to plugin so it does not confuse.

Generally if manual sending is working i don't see a reason why cron wouldn't - rarely it gets stuck but deactivating and activating would solve that.

I have just been testing this on my own install, if you could try adding a new page and then place the shortcode in the visual editor and see if that works?

As you can see from the attached files, it tells me after uploading the avatar that the 'Avatar has been updated', but it still doesn't show up.

I open the missing image into a new tab and it's referencing domain.com/avatar. I then paste the path of the newly-uploaded file into the browser and it pops right up (the path pointing to wp-content/uploads/avatars/user/e4d/user-5-96.png)

So, there's no permissions problem accessing the image from the browser and the permissions look fine on the server side. The image is getting uploaded as it should.

Any idea?

Tried deactivating / activating the plugin, then sending again, but still nothing gets sent...

It gets scheduled to be sent at UTC, which is -2 hrs from server and WP time (2 hrs in the past), so guess that is the reason why it does not get sent...

it should be checking for bounce after every portion of newsletter has been sent.
But... there is a problem with bounce because servers are returning different bounce messages. Its hard to be ready for every kind of answer but it should detect at least part of them.

Could you possibly send me few bounce messages you are receiving at maniu@incsub.com ?

Removing bounced emails is not implemented yet but every bounce is stored so when feature will be added(hopefully sooner then later), all your bounced emails will be easily removable.

@Qlof to be honest bounce is a little tricky and I don't know what exactly happens behind the scenes there!
The plugin developer has already been notified about your issue, so hopefully he'll be able to shed some light on this.

I did notice this as well actually, technically, they should also go just above the line reading that's all stop editing happy blogging.
But if they aren't causing issues currently and the site is working you may prefer to leave them there :)
I'd most probably if it was me, move them, checked the site worked and if it did, great! And if not move them back, just make sure you have a FTP connection in case anything goes wrong :)

I have actually solved the problem. I disabled the Menu Items Ad-on in the Easy Blogging Settings, and now my plugin is working again. So I can now add and remove menu items using a plugin for each site.

Sorry for the delay, I've just been going through everything and checking it all and you are indeed correct, when MarketPress is deactivated the menu items display fine.

It appears MarketPress is conflicting with your theme on that site. One thing I did notice was despite not having MarketPress network activated, the MarketPress settings are showing up in the network admin and they shouldn't, I also noticed you was using Pay to Blog, which we haven't used in quite a while and now that is integrated within Pro sites http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/pro-sites/

I've disabled the plugins on the sub site and that didn't make a difference, it only worked when MarketPress was also disabled.

I'm going to flag the lead developer on this, to provide his valuable insight.
