I am really at a loss as to how this plug in works. Is there any documentation at all on this?

Please accept my apologies for the incorrect information on the main plugin page, we would get that corrected soon and thanks for your patience while I was looking for the steps for you.

Please find the steps below to integrate it with your membership plugin.

You need to login to your dashboard and click on Affiliates under Dashboard and then just activate the addon as per the attached screenshot.

I hope that helps :)

Am I just missing links to any explicit documentation? Besides the one-page blurbs about rudimentary setup procedures (such as: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wordpress-mu-affiliate ) and a link-to-nowhere for a plugin that integrates Membership+Affiliates, I am finding very little.

Someone help me out here? I seem to be missing something obvious.

Actually we are working on updating the manuals and documentation this month and the next, there is a lot more to be done. So if you feel anything needs to be improved, drop a line right away, always appreciated :)

One you have the SQL for each database, create a new blank database and import the SQL files one at a time. Finally set the options in wp-config.php to point to the new single database and delete the db.php file from your wp-content directory.

You should now be running on a single database.

For future reference, it's better to open a new thread for inquiries such as this. We sometimes miss these older threads :)

That being said I know of no way to re-unite the databases, but I'll ask a couple developers to come by and see if they've got some tips for you.

@DavidM, I was looking to widgetize areas of the homepage that aren't currently. I know I can firebug it, but I just want to be sure I don't stumble into anything I'm not aware of, so I figure the docs will be really helpful with that, some of the CSS, etc.

The sidebar stuff I'm good with. I just need more out of the homepage than it comes with by default.

I'll be back and let you know how it went.

Maybe this will help someone troubleshoot our issue ... with rules set to via search and ? 3 popups shown, the popover will display. If, however, the external link rule is added, the popover does not show. Which is interesting since a visit via search is from an external link.

If anyone cares to test, check these links...

It's generally footer.php - open it in an editor and do a search for wp_footer() (though it's usually a v.small file so you should spot it without a search.
