Its just a normal plugin, so upload it to your plugins directory:

/wp-content/plugins/

The plugin structure should be:

/custom-loginlinksbegone/custom-login.php

So:

Ahh I see, you are running in single site mode. Most of mine are multisite site.

/wp-login.php around line 82

<?php if ( !is_multisite() ) { ?>

Thank you Tim!
Many thanks,

Perhaps the following plugin would be of use to you:

Hi,

I am customizing the login page of my site. I would like to enable users to open the main page of my blog when they click on the logo. As an example I attach a picture for the WPMU login page. In this case when I click on the WPMU logo the WPMU homepage opens. I would like to do the same for my blog.
Please, could you tell me which template file should I work on?

Thank you.

Regards,

Not sure if you noticed, but we also had a new release recently, version 2. Have you tried this on?

I've just posted again, this time by logging in with Safari....

I wonder if there is some browser cache issue, perhaps installing version 2 might help refresh that.

I think we should rename the topic,

"the ajax is reloading forever and does not automatically take to the home page. It shows the loading icon."

my primary issue now here is that ajax is reloading forever in Chrome, Safari and Firefox and does not redirect to whatsover so that the user is notified that it has successfully logged.

yeah sure that user's being logged if you refresh it but it's not user-friendly.

I am building a website for a franchise company and they desire a rather unusual setup. I hope someone can help me figuring out what is happening here.

lets say their main site is franchise.com

every other franchiser has to set up their own domain, I am working on franchise.co.za
they desire that franchise.co.za is redirected to franchise.com/southafrica.
franchise.com/southafrica holds basic information and custom links set up by the admin for that particular country.
I have solved this with the plugin called redirection, I am redirecting / to franchise.com/southafrica so I can access the dashboard and any URL I type in, just the root will be redirected.

Now they want to set up a webshop, which will be linked from franchise.com/southafrica/ to franchise.co.za/webshop

ALL WORKS SO FAR BUT HERE IS THE REAL PROBLEM:
on franchise.co.za if I log in as admin I am in my familiar wordress dashboard and all is well but ANY other user will be redirected after login to franchise.com/southafrica - so basically only the admin can actually use the dashboard. I even tried to use a plugin that redirect depending on the user role but even that doesn't work. All users except hte admin are being redirected upon login.

any ideas what could be wrong here? I'd be willing to share the login details so someone can take a look since this is still in development.

Please let me know if I didn't properly explain and I'll try again if needed.

Love that theme!! :-)

Anyway, it worked fine for me in Chrome on Mac:

http://pick.ph/members/tim_bowers/

I can register, I can log in through wp-login.php and didn't have an issue doing so.

Perhaps a browser plugin causing issue? Which browser you using?

Take care.

I guess I'm not understanding what features this would bring. I'm a Twitter lover though, so more Twitter-related features always sound good to me :)

Re-opening thread as issues are in fact not related.

If you are on the latest WordPress and the latest plugin version, can you please follow the usual to investigate:

Can you also deactivate all other plugins running, then test again. If the issue goes away, then re-activate each plugin, one by one until the issues comes up again. You will have found the culprit causing a conflict.
Can you also try with the default "Twenty Eleven" theme to ensure it is not a theme conflict.

Is it possible to have a link?

Hey again.

This is not resolved!

Ah I wasn't to know as I responded a week ago with:

Can you please confirm which version of WordPress and Ultimate Facebook you have running.
Can you also deactivate all other plugins running, then test again. If the issue goes away, then re-activate each plugin, one by one until the issues comes up again. You will have found the culprit causing a conflict.
Can you also try with the default "Twenty Eleven" theme to ensure it is not a theme conflict.
Let us know how you get on. :-)

But didn't see a reply.

I see Phil also responded:

That error is likely due to a plugin or theme conflict.
Please disable all other plugins and revert to the default theme to check if that is the case.
Thanks,
Phil

Anyway, seems theses are all the same issue, lets deal with it all on the following thread:

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/error-in-post-editor

So I'll close this thread and the one with Phil and point both there. I'll respond on there shortly.
