S H,

No I hadn't. I've just installed 1.0.8 and it works! Thank you so much for your prompt assistance and doing a build so quickly, and on a Sunday too. Fantastic service.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to mention it or not, but while I have you, would it be possible in the next release to have a widget or something similar to show which online members are currently viewing the Chat page ( I'm using the chat plugin just like you guys do for your live support). I think it would be a really great addition to know who is also online and viewing the same chat page as you.

Is it possible?

Thanks again for all your help today. It was really very much appreciated

All the best
Rob.

Joe, if you can let me know of any quick-and-dirty hack in the interim that would be most helpful as this is causing a lot of issues on my live site. Unfortuantely, most of my members use IE and I really could do with a solution sooner rather than later.

Thanks for your response.

Rob.

Greetings godrob,

Thank you for being a WPMU Dev member!

Since it appears that you and the developer were already discussing this issue in live chat I think I will butt out and let you two folks hopefully come up with a cure.

I will flag the lead developer to your posting of this ticket.

Cheers, Joe :-)

S H Mohanjith

As per our conversation in live chat, I think I've found a bug with the Chat Plugin. Since upgrading my Wordpress/Buddypress site to their latest versions, 3.3.1 and Version 1.5.4 respectively, the Chat plugin loses focus after a few seconds (I think this ties in with the refresh rate of the messages) and scrolls to the bottom of the page in Internet Explorer (tested in IE9). However, this all seems fine in both Firefox and Chrome. As advised, I have also tested this locally with the BuddyPress default theme and the Chat Plugin, but the problem is still the same.

I am using Chat V1.0.7 and all worked fine since the Wordpress and BuddyPress upgrade

Just to clarify, it's the message input box that loses focus...

I would really appreciate your help here?

Many thanks
Rob
