You have an php error from your cubepoints plugin. try deactivating it.

Tammie, yes, thank you. You did say that last time too!! Sorry. Will start a new thread if I still have trouble after i look into 3.0. I had delayed updating because I was worried about plugin conflicts. Lemme try!

@pbarthmaier: First up can you please start a new thread as your issue will get lost as seems not related 100% to this one. That being said I'm thinking this is either something with your set up OR plugins. You will want to consider though that the latest Daily theme requires 3.0 so you may want to look if you can into updating.

I'm having trouble with creating new blogs from the dashboard. Using BP-Daily with WP 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.3. I get the error that says it wasn't set up correctly and when I look in phpMyAdmin the tables are not created. My error log gives me a pair of errors that looks like there is a problem with my Admin profile.:

UPDATE: If you are experiencing this issue please update to the latest version of this theme as I found an issue that not happening in all cases but could be the reason. If you can also update to BuddyPress 1.2.1 along with this as that covers another known bug now fixed in the core around sign up.

@cdkrauth: There is a bug around blog sign ups in BuddyPress 1.2 which 1.2.1 has fixed. It could perhaps be this however I am also updating the business theme tomorrow so will review this as part of the process.

Yes, both the bp-business, and bp-business-child themes are located in the themes directory.

Hiya,

Double check that you've placed the business theme directory directly in wp-content/themes.

I am continuing to have problems with the new member signup on the business theme. I've tried almost everything, including removing all site plugins and it still doesn't work. I just completed an upgrade to buddypress 1.2.1, and bp-business-1.0.5 and it has gotten worse. I am running WordPress MU 2.9.1.1

Currently the "Signup" button is not showing on the front page.
If I go to http://mysite.com/register and complete the registration form it just returns me to the registration page without creating an account.

I went back the the bp-default theme and the registration process works fine.
