Sorry for the delay, I have double checked and I believe your issue is because of the product created in 2CO with the old details (1 day recurring created as a non recurring product). Best option is to delete the old product from the 2CO vendor control panel and the plugin will happily create a new product with the correct/current details.

Please let us know if you continue to have issues.

Unfortunately, it made no difference when I experimented with monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions. All, in 2checkout, are set to "no" under recurring in the 2co interface after purchase.

Thanks,
Tammy

I believe you cannot have daily recurring payments with 2Checkout, they only support monthly recurring payments.

Please try with a monthly subscription.

FYI, I tried the "indefinite" setting as well, just in case I was misunderstanding the settings, but that purchase also yielded a non-recurring sale in 2checkout. Since "finite" doesn't make sense if I want people to renew automatically each month, how do I do this?

I want my subscriptions to work like WPMU DEV's -- subscriber gets ongoing access to the site and they're automatically charged each month/quarter/year.

I'm totally baffled by what seems like it should be obvious! Help me, obi-wan...

Let me try again to explain what I'm trying to achieve:

1 - Person buys subscription for a set length of time for set fee (in my test, it's 1 day for $1). They access all the content I've given them for that period and price.

2 - When the set length of time is done, their subscription automatically renews for the same set fee and for another of the same length of time (in my test, on day 2 they should be resubscribed for 1 more day for $1). They access all the same content.

3 - And so on.

What settings should I be using to achieve that?

There is no second level -- the subscription is set to give them access to all course content for a monthly fee (setup as a test).

Ok, you've successfully lost me :) it happens easily. The screen shot you posted has a 1 day serial level in the subscription.

There is no second level -- the subscription is set to give them access to all course content for a monthly fee (setup as a test).

Have I set it up wrong by using "serial"? I want the subscription to work so that they retain access to the site as long as they pay their monthly fee -- there's no content drip.

On the 2checkout side I'm not sure - I'll have to leave that answer to our 2co expert - did the membership plugin move the user forward through the subscription to the next level though?

Hi,

I'm using 2checkout with my membership plugin. I have a test subscription set up to recur every 1 day and charge $1. This is live -- not sandbox. The subscription is set to "serial."

It has now been 30 hours since I test purchased a subscription and it has not renewed. When I logged into 2checkout and checked the purchase, it is set to "no" under "recurring?."

What have I done wrong? A screenshot of the subscription setup is attached.

Thanks!
