A bug? if you set another table_prefix , not default wp_
I found something that may be a bug.
When I install a wordpress site with another table prefix, for exsample, abc , and then I install the domain mapping plugin.
You will find that the plugin won't work. In mysql database , you can't find the table named like domain_mapping .
Is it a bug ?
Add:
I have imported another wp database and change the table name from wp_domain_map to abc_domain_map, the plugin works now.

Hi James and first off, welcome to WPMU DEV!
I'm really not sure what happened there but I've got a site setup using a different table prefix and it's not had any issues like that, the domain_mapping table has the proper prefix as it should.
Glad that worked for you by changing the prefix manually, though I'd love to know what happened there.
I've got this site setup with sub-directories. Is your site using sub-domains by any chance?
Cheers,
David
Hi, David
I don't use sub-dir. The blog domain name is namibit.com. It's strange that other blog is ok, but I have met the error twice at this multi-blog.
I will test it and repot if there are any errors.
Thanks for your reply.
Regards,
James

Hiya,
Just checking if it was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?
If so, no need to reply, that's great news.
If not, could you let us know by re-opening this topic, and we'll get onto it and helping you out asap!
Otherwise, happy days, glad you got it sorted :)
Thanks!
Phil
I have met the problem again. I used a prefix t01_ , and the plugin cannot work collectedly, after I re-installed the wordpress and use default prefix wp_, the plugin worked normally.
Please check it again. I'm sure I have do right for everything but the error displays again. My domain is t01.org .
Just to be clear: what version of WordPress and Domain Mapping are you using?
WP: lastest 3.3.1 cn version (from cn.wordpress.org )
Domain Mapping: v3.0.5
hosting: hostgator.com
Maybe is it a bug of chinese version for wordpress?

Hmm I'm really unsure as to why that would be - I can see that the plugin gets the table prefix from WordPress itself so it should be absolutely correct.
Let me ask the developer to chip in with ideas here....
Hiya,
Just to check, have you updated to the latest 3.0.7 version of this?
Thanks!
As @masonjames says - if you can upgrade to the latest version and let us know if it helps - you need to remember to upgrade the sunrise.php file as well.
The new version adds in extra checks to make sure that the prefix it uses isn't empty (just in case the base_prefix setting is not being set for some reason).
Hey there! :-)
Just checking in to see how things are going with this one and if you need any further help. :-)
We haven't heard from you on this thread for a while, perhaps you got help over our email. I'm going to presume your all fixed up now and don't need any further assistance.
However if you have more questions or need some more help then please feel free to respond in this thread or create a new one and we will be more than happy to offer assistance. :-)
Take care.
