I have installed the Buddypress Activity Plus plug in, and am using the ED Blogs theme.
The pop up photographs are layered behind the menus.
Oh and is there anyway of controlling that top menu in that theme?

yeah,you can edit css files.They are in the _inc folder.

Haven't heard back from you on this so assuming it's sorted. Just to mention though, the theme uses custom menus in WordPress, which you can find out more about here: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/introduction-to-menus
