Add disk space quota mannualy
Hello,
My site is configured in a MU Wordpress installation.
I have the upgrades and supporter plugin installed.
I create a test package (Addon) that allow members to increase the disk quota up to 100 MG.
When a user buy this package with credits how can i increase manually the disk quota for this member? It's possible to do that?
It's possible to have in the system members with different disk space quotas without being supporter members?
Thank you
Vítor

If you go the the overview of the current Sites and you click on Edit (instead of Backend) you can manually change the disk quota on the right side (you won't see it immediately, I believe it's on the bottom of the right side - but: the right side isn't as long as the left side, so don't scroll all the way down).
Agreed. To be honest, we have clients who prefer doing most of this stuff manually. I think they're nuts but that's the way they want it.

Ok, i found:)
Is there any form to track or limit bandwitch?
Not built in. Considering many of these installs promote themselves as having unlimited bandwidth for endusers, there's not been much interest in something like that. Also since bandwidth is monitored by the box and not the wp software and there's hundreds of different types of box setups, that's not something that could be created easily. What would work for someone on a CentOS box probably wouldn;t work for me and my *BSD boxes.
I have always a problem with the special Portuguese characters.
E.G: If a member want to be a supporter member and click in the Premium plugins appear the "Plugins Message" with strange characters:
"Os plugins Premium apenas estÃ?Ã?Ã?£o disponÃ?Ã?Ã?Âveis para os Membros Pro . Porque nÃ?Ã?Ã?£o te tornas agora um Membro Pro?"
Every time i dig a little more appears always this kind of problem with me,
e.g: in the buddypress RSS activity feed i have the same problem.
How can i radically resolve this problems?
Check your databases' charset. Probably on latin instead of utf8. If so, get back to us for some fun times.

Ok.
But there is a risk of "damage" the database?
if you try to change it from what it is into utf8, you may screw up something. There's a couple of threads on the mu forums (and I think a couple here) where we were pushing for forcing utf8 out of the box in core (and the plugins) but doing that messes other things up.
So what charset are the databases?
Hello,
i have two charset:
utf8_general_ci
latin1_swedish_ci
what do you recomend to do now?
Well if you want to take a shot at it, you can convert the latin1 ones to utf8.

It;s not pretty. A very strong suggestion to back up your databases before hand. It's very easy to screw up something.
You should contact your host about setting the default to utf8 to prevent future created databases from being created as latin1. (I;m suggesting that since I don;t know your hosting environment.)
