I have comments disabled in the custom admin but they still show. How do I remove them?

Greetings Atlanta,
When testing to see if the comments are still available for sub site admins are you logged in as Super Admin?
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Hello Atlanta,
Are you referring to Multisite here ?
If you are looking for just a single site the below links will help you for sure :-

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/disable-comments/
Please advise

Greetings Atlanta,
Though it is understood that you have comments disabled in your MultiSite install and it is further understood that the sub site admin comments are in fact showing as allowed contrary to your chosen setting.
I am wondering if we can indeed conquer this phenomenon using the Advanced Access Manager plugin?
Please consider trying it out and advise to the results.
Cheers, Joe

@aecnu is there an easier way to fix the plugin issue than installing another plugin that starts messing with roles etc?

Greetings Atlanta,
Lets find out :-)
I will flag the lead developer in here to offer his advice/advise us on a way to resolve this issue.
Though it may take a bit longer then a normal ticket, I will try to get him in here asap.
Cheers, Joe

Hello,
I guess it's a terminology misunderstanding - disabling "Comments" in Custom Admin Bar settings means removing the comments root menu item from the menu - this one: http://i48.tinypic.com/t70apw.png Perhaps you can just also check "My Sites" to disable that as the root item as well, and get rid of all comments instances?
