Hi All,
I've got a fairly restricted multi site install and we need to give site admins the ability to edit users.
I realize that out of the box multi-site only allows super admins (for security reasons + users may be members of multiple sites) but in this scenario users are nearly always part of a distinct site.
So far I have tried creating a new role (e.g. Admin Plus) with the "manage_network_users" capability but that doesn't appear to do anything.
So..has anyone had any success allowing admins to edit users and if so can they share how? I understand it will most likely be a core modification.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jason!
Have you looked at Members?
I've got a feeling that only works on an individual site basis, not network but may be worth a look.

Thanks Phil - no joy with that one.
I think it will require some minor core edits. Everything I try fails though and I'm not sure why.

You may want to look into editing existing user roles in that case, instead of creating a new role.
I'm honestly not sure how you'd go about that as I've never had cause to do it.

No worries Phil. A mate just figured it out for me.
