I would like to have files attached to a Wiki-page when using the basic Wiki-editor. For instance, if I upload a new file and click 'Insert into Post' it does not get attached to the Wiki-page.
However, if I do the same in the 'Advanced'-editor (it is the default WordPress editor screen?) the file gets attached to the Wiki after clicking 'Insert into Post'.

Hello wpuser,
I think it's a theme thing, I tried it out and it worked fine.
Can you check for any JavaScript errors? Here is how: http://www.trixya.net/index.php/internet/how-to-view-javascript-errors-in-firefox
Let me know!

I used Chrome and could not see any JavaScript errors.
Just to elaborate, by attaching I mean to 'Attached to'-function in Media Library. For instance, if I go to Media in wp-admin to view the files, I can see that the file inserted into post through Advanced-editor is attached to the Wiki-page, but the one inserted into post through the basic Wiki-editor is remains unattached.

Oh, that means, you can actually insert images to the post via the simple editor, but they are not attached to the wiki page? That is it?

Yep! And I also think this includes all sort of files, not just images.

Note to Moha:
I tested this out. Upload is working smoothly from the front end and backend. But the media uploaded from the front end isn't shown as attached to the wiki page.
See the screenshot attached.
