I am curious if it is currently possible to use the Automatic Linking feature of Infinite SEO to auto-link activity stream content (status updates, comments and so on)
If NOT: Is it possible to implement this in a future release?

This isn't a feature at the moment. But news is that, BuddyPress 1.6 will come with Activity Stream as Custom Post Types and this should be possible with the plugin.
