I've been through the discussions a bit and can't seem to find an answer to my little twist on the autoposting issue.
I've installed and configured Ultimate Facebook successfully including granting extended permissions.
Everything else the plugin supports (things like comments) seems to be working fine.
I have a post scheduled to hit at 4am in the morning and I'd like it to autopost to my page as well. I'm an admin of that page and I'm logged into Facebook.
It hasn't worked yet and this morning there was the following error:
OAuthException: (#210) Subject must be a page.
Additionally in looking through the discussions I found that there should be more options for Facebook when I post - see the attached screenshot for what it looks like in my post editor. I've seen other screenshots with more options than mine.

Goodday @marcus_hackler
At the risk of sounding a bit insulting, I must ask. Are you using the latest version of the plugin?

Not insulting at all - I assume so due to the fact I purchased it two days ago.
The stated version is 2.3

Greetings marcus_hackler,
Welcome to WPMU Dev!
If you could please post a screenshot of your Ultimate Facebook plugin (where the green tick is) and especially the Facebook App including the advanced and basic settings?
Looking forward to checking them over.

Goodday @marcus_hackler
Is this a page that you're posting to or is it your personal profile. If it's a page, you must check the box for "If posting to a page, post as page" (the last screenshot in http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/autoposting-a-post-to-a-facebook-page-error#post-259497 above).
Do that and let us know if it works.

Greetings marcus_hackler,
Thank you for your screen shots and additional input.
I apologize for the delay here, Mondays can be overwhelming to say the least.
I have viewed your screen shots above and noticed that some items are not filled in completely for example the Open Graph items graphic 10:39:29, at least for the moment for trying to figure out what is wrong with your installation.
I think I do see a problem in your attached screen shot from 10:39:56
In this section Map WordPress types to Facebook locations it shows that there are no pages designated to be posted to. This would explain the OAuthException: (#210) Subject must be a page. error.
The rest looks pretty good.
Please designate a page to be posted to and advise if this issue is now resolved.
Cheers, Joe

Thanks for the responses - both helped. I checked the "post as a page" box as well as mapped everything to my FB page and success!

Goodday @marcus_hackler
Glad you got it sorted. I don't know how I missed the thing that Joe (@aecnu) mentioned - I guess I honed in on the box that was unchecked and couldn't seen anything else but that.
Regardless, glad we could assist and glad to have you here as part of the community.

Ok we're back to being broken. Everything worked well for the past month and then I get this error on 9/26
CurlException: 52: SSL read: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0), errno 110
And then after trying to publish again I get this one:
CurlException: 56: SSL connection receive timeout
And now every time I try to publish I get this:
OAuthException: Error validating access token: The session is invalid because the user logged out.
I'm on version 2.5

Good evening @marcus_hackler.
I don't mean to be offensive, but did you update to the latest version of Ultimate Facebook? It seems that FB is constantly tweaking and I think Ve keeps up on it pretty good. I just posted something for one of my clients and it didn't autopost. I then realized that I needed to update (had been ignoring the nag). I updated and it has been working ever since.
BTW, everytime I do anything involving Ultimate Facebook, I make sure that I have a tab open with FB logged in (which is my normal state of affairs). Did you do that?
Looking forward to your responses.

As I stated in my post, I'm on version 2.5 which is the current version.
I logged out and back into FB and it seems to be working again.

Sorry @marcus_hackler.
Big dummy me missed that last line. OOP!
Strange how it does that sometimes. It kicked me in the teeth just a couple of weeks ago, so I feel your pain. Glad it's resolved again though.
Have a great Thursday.

Oh I wish it were resolved... for some reason that one post published and now we're back to broken. I'm getting the same error in the log:
Here's what I've tried to no avail -
1. I logged out of FB and logged back in
2. Switched between using FB as my personal accounts (which is an admin to the page I'm trying to publish to) and the page I'm trying to publish to - I tried pushing to FB in each instance.
3. Logged out of my WP site and logged back in, repeated 1 and 2 above
No success - I don't know why last night I was able to push a post, yet it now fails again.

Goodday again @marcus_hackler
I hate to keep stating the obvious because I start to sound like I think I'm the smart one and you're not - and that's not at all what I'm trying to say. I'm just sharing my own experiences.
Go to your UF settings page. Make sure that in the first section it still states that you are connected to the page and that Extended Permissions are connected. I've seen that drop once or twice for some reason and simply enabling it again gets it rocking.
Second, check the bottom section and make sure you are still set to post on the page - as the page.
After that, I'm out of ideas. Maybe Ve can help us.

Greetings marcus_hackler,
Sorry to see that you are still having and issue with the Ultimate Facebook plugin.
After reviewing this entire ticket again I did spot something that is potentially causing this issue.
In your screen shot in this post, the app domain should not include the http://
Here is your post with the screen shot showing this:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/autoposting-a-post-to-a-facebook-page-error#post-259504
And in my below screen shot is the way it should be.
Please correct the App Domain entry and advise if this has indeed fixed the current issue.
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Ok - I updated those settings and when my post for tomorrow hits overnight I'll see if it works.
Also earlier today I went in to try and re-publish the post to see if it would hit FB and it was successful. It's frustrating because it's intermittent... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully the fix above will make it consistent.
Thanks for the help guys!

Greetings marcus_hackler,
Thank you for letting us know and I look forward to hearing from you how the test goes in any event.
In addition, please do not beat yourself up over it nor discount Facebook throwing the wrenches in these apps on a monthly basis since March which in my opinion they are trying to force everyone to be logged into Facebook to get their ads in their face.
Look forward to hearing from you as mentioned earlier and hopefully we have this issue resolved.
Cheers, Joe

Ok, I've narrowed down when the problem occurs and in what conditions it occurs.
First you all should know that I'm trying to schedule posts for future dates. Each day (M-F) I publish an article to hit first thing in the morning on the site http://springoflifeaz.com. These articles are "Daily Devotions" for the members of our church.
I set up the scheduled post to hit around 1am my time. I was able to successfully set up the plugin and get it to autopost and it worked like a charm until September 26th.
At that point I go this error:
I unpublished the post and attempted again and got this error:
From then on everytime I attempted to push an article to FB I got this error:
As the days passed I kept attempting to fix the problem by trying different combinations of logging out and back in of both FB, my site, and switching between my FB profile and my page. Once in a while a post would successfully publish and I think I've nailed the pattern for success. Hopefully it will uncover the solution to return to autoposting :)
When I schedule a post that is supposed to push to FB I get this error first:
I then log out of FB and back in to retry and get this error:
What I didn't notice before is that the first error is replaced by the second in the log... the unix time error is now gone from the log.
I then go to my plugin settings to verify that everything is connected properly. If I'm logged into FB as my profile everything looks normal, yet I will still get the invalid session error.
If I switch my profile to my page the plugin settings under "Autopost to Facebook > Map Wordpress Types to Facebook Locations" gives me an error telling me that I need to log in to Facebook to set up Autopost mappings with a link. (See attached screenshot).
Once I click that link FB asks me to switch back to my profile. Once I do so and republish, it works.
This is quite the process to get a post published to FB and it has left me very discouraged.

Goodday @marcus_hackler
Have you tried just remaining logged in as yourself and not as the page? I NEVER log in to FB as the page - always as myself. As such, other than the time I didn't have the latest plugin version - I've NEVER had an issue with the autopost over to Facebook.
I read what you were noting above, but I kinda got the impression that you were trying to do something where you are logged in as the page. You don't have to be for the plugin to work. Like I said, I keep a FB tab open ALL THE TIME in my Firefox and I'm ALWAYS logged in as me. When I publish a post on my client's website, it posts to their FB page as their website - not as me.
Hope that helps.

@JamesDunn
If what you are saying is true I should have never had a problem to begin with.
If you read earlier in the thread, my effort in switching between my profile and page were for troubleshooting purposes... basically trying to get ANYTHING to work and narrowing down where the problem is.
I have repeatedly tried to post while logged in as myself and experienced the errors I described above. Please take a minute to read my last post in more detail knowing that I start with being logged in as my profile rather than my page and see if you can make any sense of why I'm experiencing these errors.

Here's a bit more to hopefully help:
I've found now that the ONLY WAY to get the autopost function to work is to switch from my FB profile to my page and then initiate the switch back to my profile through the error link provided in the autopost settings of the plugin settings as described and shown in my earlier screenshot.
I've logged out and back in of FB with 100% failure to autopost.
I've logged our of FB and initiated a new FB session by clicking the error link in the autopost settings of the plugin settings and even after I've logged back into FB from there it still fails
This has got to narrow this problem down so we get some resolution, right?

Here's some more info that will hopefully help:
I got another unix timecode error on this morning's post:

Greetings marcus_hackler,
Sorry to see that you are still having an issue with this error it appears to be an authentication error.
Please try removing the app id and secret and start fresh again on this portion by re-entering the app id and secret.
Please advise if that does the trick and make sure that if copying and pasting the app id or secret that a space is not added to the end as Windows commonly does when copying and pasting.
Cheers, Joe

Hi Joe,
Unfortunately it still doesn't work after removing the app id and secret.
I still have to switch to the page admin, go to the settings and initiate the switch back to my profile through the FB plugin settings under the Autopost section in order to get it to work.
Totally defeats the whole autoposting concept.

Goodday again @marcus_hackler
I just don't get it. I'm using this very same plugin and just posted to a client's page tonight (https://www.facebook.com/athensvet) and it posted perfectly. I didn't even have a FB tab open (like I usually do) and it still worked just fine.
Your specific situation has me completely baffled.
Would you be willing to screenshot some things and share them privately with me so I can compare them to my own setup to see what we have different? If so, I'll tell you what I want to see and you can screenshot it and send it to my email address.

It seems to be fixed for now! Here is the lowdown...
After some email correspondence with @JamesDunn I tried the following:
1. Disabled all other plugins other than Ultimate Facebook
2. Disabled all features within Ultimate Facebook other than autoposting
3. Changed my FB app settings to match his.
Unfortunately none of that worked so I decided to start fresh with a brand new app on FB.
After I created a new app I updated the Ultimate Facebook plugin with the new app ID and secret and re-engaged all the previous settings except other plugins. It now autoposts overnight successfully with a scheduled post.
My next step is to see if my other social sharing plugin will cause the process to break.

Goodday @marcus_hackler
I'm glad you are on track to fix this. I'm completely out of ideas on this and was certain we would need to get someone to get the developer on it.
Be sure to post back if you find any conflicts - that could help someone in the future.
