I'm testing both the new beta of Wordpress and bbPress 2.0 locally. I wanted to use "a current install of bbpress" for the forums and it asks to locate the bb-config.php. Where is this located? I can't seem to find it! Thanks!

You mentioned BuddyPress in your thread title, were you trying to migrate over a BuddyPress forum to the latest bbPress? Or a previous bbPress forum maybe?
I was trying that out myself and couldn't get them to work. I heard they weren't compatible yet too, though. Hopefully with the forthcoming BuddyPress update that'll be taking into account.

I'm not sure that BuddyPress and the new BBPress 2.0 beta plugin are compatible yet.

i can't find anyone who mentions where that config file is though -- it must be somewhere right? Unless it is deprecated in the beta...
