First off I am using Wordpress 2.9.2 and buddypress 1.2.3 and recently tried to install the BP Daily template but I am having problems. I have followed the instructions and both BP-Daily and BP-Daily-Child are located in my /wp-content/themes directory but once I activate either one I lost access to all of my site. When you reload the page or try to visit any of the pages, directories its blank. The only way I can see the site again is by deleting the BP Daily folder. I am not sure what I am missing here but I would appreciate any help. I have installed several other themes without issue. The only other clue I can give you is that the theme does not even display in preview.
If you need to know anything further please let me know.
Thank you
Jake

A blank screen means an error in your error log. If you could copy and paste that error here then we would have a chance of knowing what the problem was. Usually you can get to the log through your hosts control panel.

Also check through Tammie's theme panic flow chart as it is really helpful - http://buddydress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/THEMEPANICFLOWCHART.pdf

Thanks for the tips, as it turns out it was an offending plugin. Template works great now.

@jake: If I had one wish it would be to have a big red warning around that plugin it's caught so many people now it's beyond a joke - the information regarding it is misleading so many it's a common problem *end rant :)

@drmike the template pack http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-template-pack/ way it reads can easily be mistaken by some that you need it for any theme.
