@drmike The one I linked to works per-blog. Installed in plugins and set to "none" in supporter. Then activated individually by super admin. Worked for me. :D

edit: Just noticed that link in the plugin description. I wonder with the homepage links being removed if they're going to allow those. They're not marked nofollow so I;m wondering if it;s an oversight.
I can;t get anything done with thsi guy here. I'll be back in a few hours.

There's a maintenance plugin available in the WordPress repository that'll do this for ya. I've used it with success:
