Hello all;
Odd issue we're encountering over at
http://www.mymiddleearth.com
Blog posts on our MAIN site (We run multisite and buddypress as well) are not displaying images to registered members or unregistered visitors.
As a super admin, however, I can view the images just perfectly.
Here is a URL affected:
http://mymiddleearth.com/2012/07/02/featured-website-my-hobbit-hole-2/
This obviously appears to be SOME sort of permissions issue... But we cannot think of anything that we've done to create such a bizarre error recently, aside from updating to WP 3.4.1 (which HAS been giving myself and certain other users NUMEROUS Internal Server 500 errors doing certain things)
Anyone with ideas of what could be causing this?

Here is your problem:

It should be http://mymiddleearth.com/uploads/
Are you using Membership? Do you have anything protected? Please let me know as this may be a bug, I've seen something similar recently. Dunno if it's a WP Membership Conflict or something else.
Thanks!

Hi Kimberly,
Didn't get an email notification of this reply, sorry for delay in responding :(
Yes, we ARE using Membership and we do have a few things protected.
Primarily though, it's just 2 specific subdomains on our multisite network that is being protected, completely unrelated to the posts that did not have images displaying.
So there is a potential bug, eh?
Let me know how I can help/fix this.

Yes I am looking into what could be causing this.
I've notified the developer, hopefully we can work this out quickly :)

Just updating here to say that the developers done a pretty major overhaul to this component and we should have something new very shortly.
Thanks!

Greetings MyMiddleEarth,
Did the last update to this plugin version 3.1.2 have any positive effects for you or is that indeed the version you are currently using and having trouble with?
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe
