Hi Guys,
A new version of the blogs directory is now available. Hopefully this new version will resolve any issues reported. If you still have an issue with this new version please post a detailed description of the problem along with a link to your site so we can see the problem for ourselves.
I believe there were some questions about which fields the search feature, well, searches. The answer is that is searches the domain (vhost installs) and path (non-vhost installs) in the wp_blogs table.
The reason it doesn't search through blog titles and descriptions is that those items are stored in the options table for each blog. It wouldn't be feasible to search through each and every options table.

As for the other issue mentioned earlier in the thread. I can't seem to reproduce the issue and I still don't have a link to the site even after bumping the thread. So I'm just going to mark it off my list for now.
If you weren't having trouble with the previous version then just keep on using it. This last update just addressed a few issues users were experiencing. Not all users were experiencing these issues.
we did have troubles with the previous version....any search comes up with
"No Results Found... ".
even if you pout in the exact blog title or domain name
We're at version 1.0.4 now and the 'no results found' issue has been fixed. So you'll need to upgrade I'm afraid.
Note that very few (if any) changes were made to the function that displays the content. So you might be able to just copy over your customized function. Definitely scan the new version for changes though. I can't remember every line that had been changed over the past three versions.
I am using the latest plugin version 1.0.5. and have checked the permalink structure, which I believe is correct. I only have 3 blogs at current and am using a subdirectory install.
We'll have another look at it this week and see what's going on. It will most likely be closer to the end of the week on this one. Just letting you know so you don't bump the thread tomorrow ;)

I am having the same problem at http://writers.trinitykids.com/?page_id=30
I've activated the plugin and it says invalid page.
Can someone help?

@ mamaestes,
You have to be using pretty permalinks instead of the page ids.
Basically the permalink structure needs to look like this:
http://writers.trinitykids.com/blogs/
Instead of this:
http://writers.trinitykids.com/?page_id=30
You can adjust the permalink settings here:
http://writers.trinitykids.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi, we have made some heavy changes to the old version, well mainly just making it a grid style view: http://myreclaimed.com/blogs/ .
What section of code was changed? Im trying to find the easiest way to upgrade the search without losing the grid style view I made.
Let me know if this is possible, or if I have to re-do it all.
Thanks

Hello,
I'm afraid I'm having the same "invalid page" issue with this plugin:
http://icraftsingles.com/blog/blogs/
I am using the latest plugin version 1.0.5. and have checked the permalink structure, which I believe is correct. I only have 3 blogs at current and am using a subdirectory install.
Thanks,
Rone

Ok, great thanks! I'll be sure not to "bump" into anything until then. :)
