When a user logs into my BP Social site, the page will refresh and remove the welcome header (the page shown to non-logged in users). This works fine for IE and Chrome, but not for Firefox.
When a user logs in using Firefox, the page doesn't refresh and remove the welcome header unless the user hits the reload button in the browser. If the user doesn't realize this, it appears that the login has failed and they either complain, give up, or request a new password. However, the login has actually succeded, it just doesn't look that way.
How can I force the page to automatically reload if the user is logging in with Firefox? Do I modify something in wp-login or on the home page? It's a fairly serious issue as it makes it appear to Firefox users that the site isn't functioning.

A link would be helpful.
Considering it;s the server that's sending these files, not sure why it's doing this. Have you made changes to the theme? If part of the page being delivered is being cached, it all should be cached. That's why I'm getting confused.
It appears that after cleaning up some old plug-ins that I no longer use, the site is now working properly for Firefox users. Not sure which one it was, but there must have been some kind of incompatibility with Firefox and one of the plug-ins.

I had the same problem today. I disabled all my plugins and enabled one-by-one logging in after each one.
The culprit in my case was WP Avoid Slow which I recently added to try it out.
