Hello,
I just upgraded my Buddypress from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4, and found out that the My Blogs button in the dark gray Admin bar on the top of my web browser does not (partially) work. It shows the small triangle right next to My Blogs, which indicates there should be a pull down menu. However, even when I put my mouse over My Blogs, no pull down options. My Account works very well as usual.
This will make my members feel very uncomfortable. Do you have any idea?
My website is http://brainpeace.com
Thank you.
Phil

@brainworld: Our themes have yet to be updated to work with BuddyPress 1.2.4 this 'could' be that but it may also not be. My suggestion would be until to test that theory as the only change that could possibly impact that would be those in the ajax / js file so therefore from the default 1.2.4 theme copy the following and put in the respective place in the social theme:
_inc/ajax.php
_inc/global.js
I am not saying this will fix it but I do know these have had some changes and 'could'. However I am not dismissing there could have been an upgrade issue or something else. Best we test the easiest option first.

Hello Tammie,
Thank you for the suggestion. Could you let me know what folder is the default 1.2.4 theme please?
I will follow your suggestion.

@brainworld: it's under the plugins folder under buddypress itself and then under bp-themes/

Hello Tammie,
I did it, but it didn't work.
Any other suggestions?

@brainworld: Has it lost all of your blogs listed? Just thinking if it's NOT theme related and in-fact something that has gone wrong on your upgrade. What do you get with the default BuddyPress 1.2 theme? The same thing?

it's a buddypress issue. If you're on MU I would NOT upgrade for a while so they can figure this out.

@gregfielding: I thought it was only on 'some' installs and possibly due to a bad upgrade and / or plugins - that was way the threads seemed to be reading. I'll check again haven't looked for a few hours. I will note I have upgraded 3 now myself without issues and mu installs on 2 of them so it does seem to not be all. That being said if ANY are experiencing a bug as Andrew advised previously about not upgrading until you know about bugs and Greg just said about waiting - that would be my advice to roll back and see if you can.

I saw a thread earlier where r-a-y confirmed that blogs disappeared if you are running wpmu. I figure this is related.

There's a new tagged version 1.2.4.1 that might fix this...
