I too have this problem, I updated to the WP3.3.1 and the drop down seem to have gone after that, I then updated the theme to the latest version in the hope that that would fix it but it's still the same
Can you please try removing plugins as looks like it works for me so my thoughts are you have a js clash on your site. If you can report back what happens without any plugins (BuddyPress should be fine). I will tag this to take a look at your response.
sorry didn't make it clear I amnot using buddypress this is a ingle install, I have deactivated all plugins but its still the same, dont really want to actually remove the plugins as it will be some work to get everything back again.
I need clarification that this worked as sub pages in a past version as Business doesn't use custom menus. Just so I can compare what version did you have that in - version of theme not WordPress?
not sure who you are replying to here but in the case of mjdtraining.com it is not a buddypress or multi user site, its a single install i the root of the web server, no subdomains of subdirectories and drop downs did work prior to the latest version of wordpress in IE9, Firefox, Chrome and Opera
Ok first up we do value responding and if there is indeed an issue we will look for a resolution. That said we need to make sure we are considering each user and having several voices over possibly different things unfortunately can cause issues.
What I would like to do would be focus on one then hopefully if same it gets resolved. If not then it would get resolved after once found out not the same. Hopefully that makes sense in a way to do this easily.
To that matter as you opened this lets first up (if that is ok @ozbod) focus on your site @ryangambrill.
Now, taking the latest version for Business and using just a WordPress site I got the menus working on my test site. So, we need to first up make sure you get the latest files (just so we're on the same page) and then please lets see where we are with your site.
If you wish to @ozbod please follow the same steps with us - however, we as said may have two issues here. For now, lets work together and get the first one resolved.
rather than work on a live site I have used spare domain to put a fresh install of wordpress (You are using WordPress 3.3.1. ) with no plugins apart from Akismet (deactivated).
I then loaded by FTP the latest Business theme and activated the child (BuddyPress Business Child Theme 4.1.5.)
I then created some pages (see screen shot below) but still have no drop navigation function.
I'd still prefer if we can deal with each person one by one as we're in danger of confusion. However, I just did some more tests and have updated the script that was used for menus. I can't recreate however as I couldn't before. I need you to both test the latest version just up today.
If we can also make sure we get it working for you first @ryangambrill as @ozbod it may not be the same (may be not denying that but it's just getting confusing as they did originally post the issue on their site).

Hiya!
What have you changed about your site since the drop downs were working?
This is likely just a plugin conflict...
Thanks,
Phil

I am exactly sure. No major changes have been made. Maybe some plugin or WP updates.
I was notified today from another person that the dropdowns stopped working.

Good Morning Tammie,
rather than work on a live site I have used spare domain to put a fresh install of wordpress (You are using WordPress 3.3.1. ) with no plugins apart from Akismet (deactivated).
I then loaded by FTP the latest Business theme and activated the child (BuddyPress Business Child Theme 4.1.5.)
I then created some pages (see screen shot below) but still have no drop navigation function.
You can see this at http://www.tukinispice.co.uk the drop down pages should appear under "Test"
Just as final check before posting this I also deleted the Akismet plugin, so now there are no plugin - result no drop down navigation.
Thanks
Dave
