I just uploaded the exciting 1.2 version of our very popular Group Calendar plugin. Here are the new features:
- Added "User's group events" widget to show upcoming events for groups the logged in user is a member of. Only shows to logged in users.
- Added email notification of new events. Configurable by group admins and individual user preference as well. Also you can set the default for all groups via a define in the plugin file header.
- Fixed defines for default settings at head of file. Choose default permissions, group email on/off
- WP/MU 3.0 Compatibility

@Aaron: Thanks for the update on this plugin. I really like this plugin. A couple questions:
First, when I install and activate this updated plugin, there seems to be a conflic with my buddypress ajax chat. When I go to the calendar from one of my groups a chat popup window (that I've never seen before) opens from the lower right corner. If I close it the page refreshes and it opens again. Any idea what can be causing this? I did not have this in the previous edition.
Second: I am trying to use this calendar on a church website that I am using BuddyPress for. So I now have the ability to let users create their own events within their groups, but is there a way for the site admin to use this calendar to post events that will be for the whole church? Or do you think I should just use this caldendar for the groups and then use another calendar plugin for the site admin to use for church-wide events? If so, any ideas on what other calendar plugin to use?
No idea, it's more likely that plugin's issue as nothing changed on the front end for this plugin version. JS and code are all the same.
If so, any ideas on what other calendar plugin to use?
This is only for group events, so you could either create a group for the whole church and use the widget somewhere to display it's results, or another event plugin.
