How do you enter text on the left hand side of the buddypress panel like in the Studio theme demo?

I am trying to enter something like the verbiage in the demo:

BuddyPress panel included.
Add another header here...
You can add messages here to notify users or let people know about your community

How do I add "another header" How do I enter a "message"?
