I'm not 100% sure if this is a theme problem...
I recently updated to BP 1.5.3.1 and I think I sorted all the new bp pages correctly. However, I'm having issues with individual member profiles.
If you are on the main site and you click on a member profile, you are taken to it. For example: http://gbiportal.net/members/lmoy/
However, if you are on a different site in the network, the profile doesn't show. It just redirects to the front page of that site. For example: http://agriculture.gbiportal.net/members/lmoy/
The same thing happens with "Activity" on each of the blogs (expect the main site).

this one sounds like it may be that even though you updated the network admin site with the update,
that possibly you did not go through the network update itself located at Updates -->Update Network
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I did the Network Update not long after I updated the network admin site. (It wasn't immediate, but within a couple of hours). Just for kicks I tried it again just now, but with the same result.
Also getting this error code:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for bp_modify_page_title() in /home/gbiport/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php on line 270
Warning: Missing argument 3 for bp_modify_page_title() in /home/gbiport/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php on line 270
I've seen it on some, but not all new posts as well as when I preview a post. Not sure if these are related...
It is very possible that this error is related and the warnings are not giving us much of a clue as to how to fix it. Obviously some kind of argument is missing but I have now chance of figuring it out because I cannot reproduce the error.
Have you any new symptoms or results since we last heard from you?
Hi Joe,
Thanks for checking in. I've reset the permalinks and double checked all the BP links, but I still have the same problem. I can't quite figure out any pattern as to which posts I see this on...its not showing up on all of them.
Sorry that I did not address your question in my last post regarding the possible relationship between your other ticket and this ticket.
I am thinking by looking at the date that we may have been posting almost simultaneously in this case causing it to appear that I ignored your question - but I can assure you that I did not ignore it - I just did not see it.
However, after visiting your other ticket just now it appears that the issues have been resolved.
Therefore I am going to go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved. However, if it is not resolved please feel free to check mark it as not resolved below and post any new errors, symptoms, or anomalies that you may be experiencing.
Hi Joe,
No worries! You're right, I think we were posting almost simultaneously!
Yes, I was able to fix the other ticket. The header files in my child theme were old, so when I updated, those files were not, and that's what was causing the error.
However, it did not fix this problem.
So, to recap, in each of my sites in the network (other than the main site), when you click on Members, it will show the list of members, network wide. If you click on one of the individual members, rather than show the profile, it goes back to the main page of the site.
Do you know if there were changes in the buddypress navigation files for the theme? I'm on my way out but will look into it this weekend.
Just checking if this issue was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?
If so, no need to reply, that's great news.
If not, or you have any more questions related to this thread, please feel free to post them below including any new symptoms or errors and tick the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (or else we'll miss it!)

I'm going to throw a suggestion of just resetting your permlinks and BuddyPress links. I know this may not be the fix but worth a shot.

Thanks, Tammie. Working on the permalinks now. How do you reset BuddyPress links?

Rest permalinks, but no change. Any thoughts? Would this be related to the bp-core-filters error I posted on 2/7?

I do have another ticket open regarding some missing css files in BP-Daily... I had assumed they weren't related...but thought I'd mention it here in case that causes any light bulbs! ;-)
Thanks

Greetings Laurie,
Checking in to see where we are with these errors.
Has there been any resolve or any additional symptoms or errors that you can add?
Cheers, Joe :-)

Hi Joe, Thanks for checking in. I'm assuming you don't see a relationship between my other open ticket and this one?

Greetings Laurie,
Do you have a backup of your site from before the update of the BP Daily Theme?
I am wondering if you roll the theme update back to the original if all these problems suddenly go away?
You can get previous versions here:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/buddypress-daily-theme/download
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe :-)

Greetings Laurie,
Have you had the opportunity to upgrade to Buddy press 1.5.5 yet?
It just came out a couple of days ago and claims to have resolved a lot of BP issues and I was wondering if this is one of them?
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe
