I'm having an issue with the "Social Theme" in regards to text input box for comments. I provided a link of the picture showing that on the right of the text input box, the up and down arrows are pushed too far into the text box, and arent lined up to the corner.

Please help,
Thanks,
Derek

If you could provide a link to the site, I might be able to help you by taking a look at the css.

Its doing it on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.
It's when you click activity, look at the input box.

Hiya,
Thanks for the clarification. I am able to reproduce this in Chrome (while logged in, of course, to be able to post to the activity stream). I'll ask Richie to take another look at this.
Thanks for the additional info!

Still doing it, the scroll bar is still popping off the corner of the text box.

What I dont understand is how the facebook like button will influence the scroll bar to pop off the corner on the "What's New?" box.

hi dvanderk
the above fix applied to the chrome/ie input textarea got squeezh when facebook like activated...
you should apply this too just incase..
for the scroll issue...try add this to your _inc/css/base.css
this should hide the scrollbar overflow
Member (joined August 2011) Likes (0)
It still shows when I add that to the /www/wp-content/themes/bp-social/_inc/css/base.css

What about shrinking the text input field so it matches up with the scroll bar?

Hiya Richie,

Thanks!

Are you kidding me? This has been an issue for two months... Im using windows 7, and ive a total of $80.00 for two months of support and im really upset this issue remains. Yes I have updated to the latest bp version.

Hiya dvanderk,
A month ago I was able to reproduce the issue on my installs, but the latest updates have totally sorted it for me. We've got several test sites and are not able to reproduce this issue anymore.
Would you be willing to send me a set of credentials to log into your install and do a bit of troubleshooting there? We can't seem to track down the variable that's causing you trouble, so logging in may be the only way to sort it.
If you're agreeable, send me a message through our contact form here:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/
Please include a link to this thread, the login credentials, and my name in the subject line. I'll take a look with you and we'll see what we can do to get this sorted.
Thanks!

I sent you a reply with my login. Note, I accidently sent you the message before typing in my username and password so look at the second message. Thanks.

Hi dvanderk,
Working with Mason on this, I took a look at your site and could not seem to see the issue you mentioned. I've actually provided a couple screenshots so you can see what I'm seeing on Windows 7.
Here's what I'm seeing in Chrome:
And here's Firefox:
Could you please let me know if there's a particular browser you're still seeing the issue in?

Hiya,
I just want to follow up as well, that I'm unable to reproduce this issue on your site. Possibly a browser cache issue? Try clearing your browser cache and see if things look correctly for you.
Thanks!

Hiya dvanderk,
Hoping that's sorted for you as we haven't heard further from you on this and in checking it all out, seems everything's working fine with the latest version.
Just let us know if you're still seeing issues and we'll see what we can find!
Thanks,
David
