As of just now we've had a significant update to 10 of our themes:
Business
Business Blogs
Business Portfolio
Business Feature
Business Services
Magazine
Daily
Product
Scholar
Studio
The following has been updated:
- BuddyPress 1.2.7 ready - fixing significant blog avatar issue in 1.2.6
- Sidebar changes - you may need to reassign your widgets. We are now using the recommend method to enable better child themeing and keep to the Theme Review guidelines for WordPress and BuddyPress themes
- Regenerated mo / po file
- Change in language functions - now includes easier method of assigning language
- Full width template
- Attachment page
- Depending on the theme some other bug fixes may apply but most just have these outlined.
A lot of these changes are to make child themeing easier for you along with bring added standardisation to our themes.

@rcaves: Hi and welcome to WPMU DEV. They all work for me and in testing so I think it may be a case of you have a plugin that is causing issues with the javascript. Can you please turn off all plugins, clear your cache and try again. Also can you confirm you have gone through the troubleshooting guides attached and confirmed location of files and so on.
Also if possible can you start a new thread for new topics as we can provide clearer support if you do this. For instance, in your case it won't be the new themes that are causing issues it will probably be a plugin or set up.
As the loop allows easy modification you can just remove the blog variable it's done for options.. however attached is a full width with the page loop and I'll update core it's easy as you can see to switch.
You don't update child themes unless interacting with a page / element then yes you have to - up to your own installations.
Here are some files or just redownload it's in there now on all.

"BuddyPress 1.2.7 ready" - love it. Thanks for your hard work Tammie! :D

I just joined and downloaded Studio theme. It looks like you are missing the theme.php file as the admin links don't work. Same goes for Holder theme.
Example: Appearance-Holder options Page header links (Settings, Social, Branding, SEO) don't link to any admin pages.

Does this mean we need to update any child theme we currently use when we make these updates?
Member — 23rd November 2010 #
Just updated to the latest Studio theme and notice the the 'full width' page is a 'full width blog/news' page - not a blank page template.
I would have expected a page template to add content rather than displaying a blog listing

That's great thanks

So to be clear I simply delete or overwrite my parent theme to update? I use bp-daily and haven't yet performed any updates.
Theme Designer — 23rd November 2010 #
@drdave: Just delete your parent theme. Also maybe update your style.css in child - up to you but keeps version number.

I guess you mean to update my child css version number? I am kinda lost on this one sorry.
Theme Designer — 23rd November 2010 #
@drdave: Just replace the child style.css if you want to do that and haven't modified it .. if not don't worry.

Thanks Tammie, that took care of the problem.
It was the Breadcrumb NavXT plugin.
