Can my edublogs-like site have e-commerce sites as a premium using what's available and no additional coding?

Hey Grace.
MarketPress can do this for you. You can have it as a feature they pay for with Pro Sites.
Or you can network activate it and then use Chained Payments with Paypal to take a commission on all sales.
You could then offer premium upgrades for alternative gateways. So you could take a commission on free sites (or premium) and then offer options so they don't pay you a commission for certain levels they pay you for.

Thank you!! Does this apply to other plugins like: floating social, pop-up, infinite seo, fundraising? Can they all be added as a premium feature for paying pro-site users? There are more plugins that I'm interested in being premium features.

Floating Social, Pop Over, Fundraising are plugins which can be installed on a per site basis and so can be offered as premium features through Pro Sites.
With MarketPress there are two option, network wide for chained payments or on a per site bases for a premium plugin. If you did it network wide then can offer premium gateways and quota.
Take care.

I can only offer "premium gateways and quota" with network wide? I have a free level and paid level. I don't want to give access to e-commerce to my free level customers.

The gateways and Pro Site levels are defined at the network level so it needs to be network activated.
As a work around you could let them have the access to products, you could even let them create products, but don't give them any gateways, so they can't sell just list.
Would that work you?
Take care.

I will network activate the marketpress plugin, the other options don't work for my site goals. Thank you!
