In Marketpress
When I click on a link for a particular product I get
"Not Found
Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help."
Server error log is reporting this
"[Wed Sep 29 19:56:23 2010] [notice] cannot use a full URL in a 401 ErrorDocument directive --- ignoring!"
I already went to the store settings/presentation page and resaved and it did not work.
I can provide a snapshot if needed. The client don't want me showing their site just yet.

This sounds more like an error with your Apache setup on the server or possibly the .htaccess file?
I'll have one of the devs come by and take a look, but I wouldn't think that error message is specific to MarketPress.
Thanks!

After clicking the product link I get the WP error message. Immediately following that error I check my server error log and there it is "cannot use a full URL in a 401 ErrorDocument directive --- ignoring!". I did this several times to be sure it was been generated by clicking the product link.
Maybe server related like you said but just fyi I have another installation of WP on a completely separate website but on the same server with MarketPress working fine.
What would I change in the .htaccess? There were no rules added for MP.

It's probably a conflict with another plugin, like the older automessage. I'm working on a work around that will detect this and force flush the rules in the next update.

@Aaron the only plugin installed is MarketPress besides BP nothing else activated.
I really hope I get this one working.

Can I have a link to a product page? That is very strange to get a 401, which means authorization required.

@Aaron the client ask me not to show their site just yet. If I may send you these attachments?
Clicking the product name, will produce the result on the bottom

Can you use firebug and tell me what header status code is being returned?

Thanks Masonjames
I appreciate it.
I went ahead and reinstalled the website because of time constraints then I reinstalled the plugin and now it is working. I would have waited but I did not know the update was going to be this soon.
I also created a completely separate test (sub-domain) site and hopefully whatever I test there and have success with will also work on my main site. It is the long way around but I had to do something to get around any future problems and hopefully my strategy will work. I think it is even better that having to create a new blog on my main site for testing but I stand corrected.
Also I need to know what to do in order to update the plugin when it's ready. Do I just delete the old one first?

Hiya drdave,
Deleting the plugin files will be fine. All the information is stored safely in the database. You should be fine as long as each file gets overwritten. Thanks!
