Thanks for the replied. When I press the buttons to save or to send as a preview the buttons seems to be non responsive. There is no error being shown. Just that the buttons are not responding.
My site is: sembrare.com

Greetings CR,
What are your outgoing email settings set at?
SMTP or PHP?
And if indeed SMTP, have you filled out all the fields (settings) with accurate information?
Please advise.

Greetings CR,
Well you mentioned that PHP failed?
Please advise.
PHP should have certainly worked unless your host is either blocking it or the server itself is miss-configured.
I know nothing about Google apps but you may indeed get this working with GMail but I would be all over my host to find out if they indeed block PHP sending and if they may be possibly blocking SMTP as well if you indeed tried it and it failed.
Please advise.

For some reason is not allowing me to save the newsletter not test it with an email.
I was wondering if it has to do with a conflict of a plugin but I deactivate them all and still would not let me save the newsletter.
Any suggestions.

Greetings cr,
I believe that the email settings must be right to be able to save the newsletter because the newsletter is attaching to the saved settings of the email settings.
It is my firm opinion valid email settings equals valid newsletter. If you cannot send the newsletter with valid email settings then it becomes totally irrelevant.
However, since it is certain that I do not know everything, I will see if I can get the lead developer with his invaluable insight in here for his advice/advisement as to what the issue may be.
Though this may take a bit longer then a normal ticket, I will try to get him in here asap.

Joe,
Thank you for your prompt respond.
I believe you may be right about it too.
However, if the developer could give us support on how to set up the gmail smtp settings.

Greetings CR,
Sorry that I missed that, my bad and I sincerely apologize.
I think they would be as follows:
SMTP Outgoing Server: ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465
SMTP Username: something@gmail.com
SMTP Password: gmail password
Now obviously your host must not have port 465 blocked.
Please advise.

Greetings CR,
I have no idea about Google apps and I do not use them.
However, the lead developer is still flagged for this ticket and possibly he will know.

Hey crgo,
Google Apps acts funny sometimes. Do you have SMTP relay enabled on the mail account your using and inside the Manage Domain settings?
Also are you using 2step authorization by any chance?
Member (joined May 2012) Likes (0)
What is 2step authorization? Please explain
thanks

2-Step authentication is an extra security feature if you haven't turned it on don't worry about it.
So are we dealing with 2 separate issues?
Here is a good walkthrough of the steps needed to make google apps allow smtp relays. http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=176054
What happens when you try and save the newsletter? Do any errors show up?
Member (joined May 2012) Likes (0)
There are not errors. When I click on the save newsletter or the option to save and go to send page I click but nothing happens!
No saving, nothing. What about permissions on the plugin folder. Is there anything I need to do in order to save it. Maybe that is a problem. Please let me know.
thanks

Greetings crgo,
The first thing we need is for you to please update your version of the e-newsletter plugin in which you are a few versions behind.
Please advise when the update has been performed and if your issue still persists.
Cheers, Joe

Hi @crgo
Just quickly checking in to see if you managed to upgrade to the latest version of the Newsletter plugin and if this resolved the issue for you.
Look forward to receive your feedback.

Hi @crgo
Hope you're doing well.
Just a quick note to say that since we haven't heard back from you with an update, I will go ahead and resolve this topic, but please don't hesitate to reopen it should you still require additional support from us. Just select the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (otherwise we might miss your new post).
Have a good day ahead.
