Hi folks. Got a bit of an issue here and am going crazy trying to solve it. When you select twitter to post a comment, it connects just fine to the right account, but then just shows: "Connected as . Disconnect" It doesn't actually say who you are connected as. It's just blank. Also, the name "twitter" in the tab at the top disappears.
Secondly, when someone submits a comment, I would like it to show up for them as a preview (before moderation) so they know their comment was submitted properly. Right now, it just disappears and looks like it erased it even though it goes into moderation. It only does this on twitter and facebook, but not on google and wp. It shows up just like I would like on those two.
Lastly, is there a way to select the "default" method for commenting? I would like for wordpress comments to be used as a default with the option of twitter/facebook/google to be secondary. Any ideas?
Thanks so much.
-Michael

Greetings Michael,
Thank you for this great question and a significant item to bring up.
Though I certainly appreciate your detailed input here, the biggest issue we have right now is simply figuring out which plugin you are indeed having this issue with.
It has not been chosen in the topic section and you did not indicate which one in your post.
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe
UPDATE: My bad it is in the title sorry

Greetings Michael,
Sorry for the delay here while I took the time to setup the Comments Plus plugin on my test production server.
Unfortunately I am unable to replicate the issue as show here on my test production server and in the screen shot below:
http://aecnuwpmu.us/sofia-map-show-exact-location/
Now it is time to go into full blown trouble shooting mode because it appears there may be some conflict here and one way to find out conclusively.
Standard plugin trouble shooting protocol - first to switch to the Twenty Eleven theme just long enough to check for the problem - if the problem still exists next involves deactivating all plugins except the plugin in question and then see if the issue still exists.
If it does not, then you want to activate plugins one at a time testing in between to see if the issue returns. Even when you find one plugin, it may be in your interest to deactivate the problem plugin and continue testing the rest of the plugins to insure no others are also conflicting. You will know the conflict when the issue returns and which plugin(s) you activated that cause the issue.
Please advise if there are any plugin conflicts and if so what the plugins are that are conflicting.
Cheers, Joe

Hello cbsocial,
Just checking in to see where we are on this issue. I tried to visit the site to see if you have managed to fix it, but it kicked me out as it needs an authentication ;)
Could you please advise so that we can proceed further ?
Cheers

Michael,
Did you figure out this problem. I left a message in the forum with pretty much the same question. I also want Wordpress default to open up like usual, and also twitter comments behave very strange. I'm curious if you guys fixed it. And if so, how.
M site is rickwsmith.com/blog and the comments do not look right at all.

I'm not sure what you mean. All I did was add a comment on to this post. I didn't create another post, or "spam" anything. I was just telling Michael that I was having the same problem.
