When a customer enters a coupon code and hits the Apply button, the link shows 404 Page Not Found. Any ideas?

Hiya @jschurman,
Sounds like ajax is failing. Can we get a link? What gateway are you using? Do you have SSL enabled?
We'll look into it with ya and get you sorted. Thanks!

https://store.evangelyze.net. I created a coupon code called TEST for you to test. I'm using Authorize.net and have SSL enabled.

It's not limited to the coupon code, any order updates (or form posts) cause a 404. It likely affects all checkout steps.
It looks to me like a server configuration issue. I see you're running a windows server, so those are common with WP. Something is blocking POST requests over https on your frontend.
I could be in your rewrite rules, or maybe a firewall/security rule, no idea really. You'll need to contact your host or sysadmin about it. Sorry!

Thanks Aaron. I am the sysadmin. Where would I need to configure settings to enable this to work?

As the sysadmin you should know ;-)
It's webserver level pretty sure. So if apache .htaccess or the .conf files. If IIS I have no idea.

I'm still experiencing the same issue, but had some other development that came up so I had to put this project aside for a moment. Will look again today. Thanks for the follow up.

Greetings jschurman,
Any update on this issue so even though we ourselves did not know the answer, if you found one we would certainly like it documented here to be able to help other members that come across this issue in the future.
Please advise at your convenience.

Ok, so coupon code is no longer working and now I'm facing another issue. I'll place this in a new thread.

Certainly an odd one. Works real well on my site. This has to be something local to your install.
That 404 certainly looks more of a server level 404 than one generated by WP. Did you get a chance to look into issues pertaining to IIS setups?
Take care.
