Hiya,
Today, I want to feature suggestion for chat plugin.

We know many folks get Cpu over load for this plugin's loop.(js file working every second for example,this is really bad)

I'm not sure but,Could you try Comet programming ? I guess,this is best solution for chat plugin.

I don't know technical detail,maybe developers want to check it.

We looked at all these possibilities before creating the plugin. Unfortunately the way we do it now is the only way in a self contained plugin.

Anything else requires extensive server/host configuration and tweaking, so it's not something we could support here.
