If I use the custom press to create a custom-post-type, when i click on a category or tag that i added after that. the page can not be found. What do i have to change with [i think] the permalinks.
Greetings
Brent

Greetings Brent,
Welcome to WPMU Dev!
You will want to set your permalinks to anything but default and preferably /%postname%/
To change the permalinks, logged into the site admin dashboard go to Settings --> Permalinks and make the adjustments there.
Have a GREAT upcoming weekend and thank you for being a WPMU Dev Member!

Hello Joe,
Have tried the /%postname%/
but it seems that whenever I click on a category or tag the page can not be found. Any suggestions?

Greetings Brent,
Sorry for the delay here.
I just checked your site at http://service.vanbrent.nl/ and every link works.
I checked with Firefox and IE 9.
Screen shot below.
Have you emptied your browser cache?
Please advise.

What happens if you click on the category or tag underneath the video?

It is accessible after removing the admin message plugin. Now, when you check a movie and click on the category "video" you get to: http://service.vanbrent.nl/category/video/
but it says no page found

Greetings Brent,
Bravo! for getting this site back online after removal of the plugin.
Could you please make a screen shot of your permalink settings and your htaccess file and post them here?
Please advise.

I use this in the permalinks: /%postname%/
the site is placed in a folder on the server where more wordpress sites are working. I can not see the htacces file for now.
what would I need to add to that file? I can ask my hosting provider tomorrow. Here in Holland it is 22.16hrs by now :-)

Greetings Brent,
There should be a copy of it already in the root folder of the domain, we are working with.
And should look something like:
Please advise.

this is what happens (i've tried it at different websites now)
if I make a regular post with a category it all works fine. I can few the post and click on the category. It shows the regular posts with the category. But when i use the same category with a custompress generated posttype the category page can not be found.
what should i change in the htaccess? Or should i change something else?

Hey there Brent!
Can you update to the latest version and see if it helps? I believe the developer fixed up a PHP issue that might help you :)
Best,
Kimberly
