Hi Tammie -
We need to add a few pages to the site which will largely be "static". For instance, Contact/ About/ etc.
Ideally the links would show up in the footer (or top nav -- if feasible).
If you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Cheers,
pablo

@pabloroboto: You will want to investigate page templates I think. Here is a tutorial about them.

Thanks, Tammie this will definitely be helpful! ... one thing is that the page here mentions:
"Going deeper into page templates next week
Next week we will build on this tutorial by showing you how to assign a blog or news template and a static home page along with more information on home page templates when we dive into the settings and templates.
We hope you are enjoying our tutorial series here at BuddyDress. If there are any tutorials you’d like to see just"
I clicked on the template tag to see the "next week" content for delving deeper but with no luck ...
any thoughts?

Also - do you think this might be a decent "work around" :

I can't really comment on that plugin as haven't used it. Doesn't say 3.0.1 or BuddyPress mind you.
http://buddydress.com/tutorials/ shows all BuddyDress tutorials.
