After I have upgraded to the latest WPMU DEV Dashboard, my admin area is no longer accessible - blank screen. Only when I disable it (by renaming this plugin's folder), I regained access to my admin dashboard. I am using the Genesis Framework with their Backcountry theme.
Thanks
Damian

Greetings Damian,
Welcome to WPMU Dev!
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin.
To jump right in to figure out what is/has gone wrong, how did you install the plugin?
By FTP or the internal uploader?
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

I installed it using FTP. The blank screen came just after I FTPed the folder.
Everything externally is working fine except my Admin Dashboard. I can only regain control if I disbale the plugin.
I am also using Events+ with Google Maps.
Thanks

I am still unable to resolve this issue.
The only way for me to access my Dashboard is to disable the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin.
Please help.

Greetings Damian,
The blank screen may indeed be an indication of your host running out of memory but I am not sure at this moment.
I would suggest we try full trouble shooting protocol starting with the theme as described below and if we cannot find resolution then we will examine hosting specifications.
Now it is time to go into full blown trouble shooting mode because it appears there may be some conflict here and one way to find out conclusively.
Standard plugin trouble shooting protocol - first to switch to the Twenty Eleven theme just long enough to check for the problem - if the problem still exists next involves deactivating all plugins except the plugin in question and then see if the issue still exists.
If it does not, then you want to activate plugins one at a time testing in between to see if the issue returns. Even when you find one plugin, it may be in your interest to deactivate the problem plugin and continue testing the rest of the plugins to insure no others are also conflicting. You will know the conflict when the issue returns and which plugin(s) you activated that cause the issue.
Please advise if there are any plugin conflicts and if so what the plugins are that are conflicting.
Cheers, Joe

I have tried deactivating and activating the theme and plugins.
Even with no plugins and only Twenty Eleven theme, the problem occurs.
Whenever I click 'Activate' for WPMU DEV Dashboard the 500 internal error appears.
Now it has also happened on another one of my site (this is a test site).

I have Marketpress with Simple Market theme on this site. No other plugins except Akismet since it is a test site. I am only using WPMUDEV stuff here.
As with the first problem site, this one is also hosted on a shared hosting environment with IXWeb hosting (different accounts though)
Please help :(
Thanks
Damian

Greetings Damian,
Thank you for the additional input, it is greatly appreciated in an effort to advance resolution of this issue.
Lets see what the folks have you hosting on.
Attached is a file that you download, extract, then upload the phpinfo.php file to the root of your domain so it can be called up in t browser i.e. http://yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php
And please post the current settings of: memory_limit and max_execution_time
Please advise.

Many thanks.
Here are the values:

Greetings Damian,
Thank you for the information in which I can clearly see a problem with these settings.
First I have never seen a memory_limit 24M so low, the lowest I have seen in the past is 32M and they had problems until raising via their php.ini file the memory limit to 128M of course some could only go to 64M as there hosting package did not offer more memory then this, unbelievable but true.
Though this is not a max_execution_time problem, it is in your best interest to set this to at least 60, this will stop potential future problems and frustrations.
To show that I practice what I preach, check out my hosting servers settings:
http://wpmu-hosting.org/phpinfo.php
Please advise if raising the PHP memory limit resolves your issue.
Cheers, Joe

Hi Joe,
I contacted my hosting and they changed my max_execution_time to 300 and memory limit to 64M (max they can go).
Now my problems are solved!
Thank you so much for your time!
I am looking into your new hosting plans and may consider a switch in the future.
Thank you so much again.
