How about a plug-in that allows a sequence to be entered on the admin side, and on the user side it shows a map on the top of the page. It would work something like this:
Admin creates Dashboard 1 giving it a name
Admin creates Dashboard 1, Step 1 and gives the step a name and an icon
Admin creates Dashboard 1, Step 2 ....
Admin creates Page or Post for Step 1 and includes a shortcode like [Dashboard id="1" step="2"]
When the visitor goes to page 1, they see the name and icon and "Step 1 of xx"
When the visitor goes to page 2, they see the name and icon and "Step 2 of xx" and a link back to Page 1 (like a breadcrumb)

I guess in my mind I had the idea to be able to create a means to create a turorial where each page has a lesson and a link back to the prior page. I guess it really could be done with breadcrumbs though.

Hi Andrew,
I'm having a bit of trouble visualizing this one. Is there an example, maybe a site that provides something like this?
