I'm going through setting up a subscription, but am having a few problems.
I tried setting up a monthly and annual fee by placing the level into the subscription twice and then making one 30 days with a price and the other 365 days without a price, but it would only go from the first one and went to Paypal with the monthly price already listed.
Then I decided to set up two different subscriptions, a monthly one and an annual one. The monthly one worked ok, but when I click on the 'subscribe' button and go to Paypal on the annual subscription, it is marked as £0.00, though I put it in as 24.
EDIT
That second part seems to be working now. The only thing I changed was 365 days to 1 year.
I also noticed, that when I add a second option with the same level, they both become whatever I placed into the second option.

Greetings Joe,
That 365 days thing sure does get everyone using it really bad causing various anomalies.
I cannot think of for the life of me why people would choose 365 days instead of one year to begin with, but that is neither here nor there.
The fact of the matter is that it should be 1 year if it is indeed 1 year and hopefully in a future release the choice of 365 days is not available.
Thank you once again for sharing your experience with other members by posting it here.
Cheers, Joe

That 365 days thing was my fault for not looking at the drop-down menu and seeing the year option. I also changed the monthly option to 1 month instead of 30 days.
I'm still ahving problems with the first paragraph above though.

Greetings Joe,
Not trying to put fault on anything other then it should not have the option at all to use 365 days since it obviously does not work right, and my speaking out loud about the 365 day thing was really not directed at you, it was a very common choice, the fact that it does not work makes it a mistake, and a general thinking out loud on my part that this should never have been included as an option since it does not work and only causes problems. This option should end at 364 days ... lol
I think this is the intended reaction since they are already subscribed as a monthly. You may want to test this after clearing cookies/cache and then hitting the yearly straight on. this prevents them from doing a monthly and a yearly simultaneously.
Please advise.

No problem Joe, thinking out loud is always a good thing.
This for those who have not yet signed up, tryign to find an easier way, so they get the choice of either an annual or monthly account without having to work with two different subscriptions.

Greetings Joe,
Thank you for your feedback regarding your thoughts on this, it is certainly appreciated.
This part of course can be done so they get the choice of either an annual or monthly account but unfortunately this part cannot without having to work with two different subscriptions because from my understanding whatever choice they make i.e. monthly or yearly, requires a different process to keep track of those very subscriptions and therefore cannot be combined.
Of course just to be certain and I shall see if I can get the lead developer of the Membership plugin with his invaluable insight into the plugin to come in here and offer his advice/advise us if in fact my understanding is indeed correct.
Though this may take a bit longer then a normal, I will try to get him in here asap.

Greetings Joe,
Just touching base with you to let you know that we have not forgotten about you nor your issue.
Hopefully the lead developer of the Membership plugin will have time soon to stop by here and comment on the possibilities if any to consolidate two subscription plans into one choice.
Cheers, Joe

Greetings Joe,
I appreciate your patience and as you are probably aware the release of WordPress 3.4 has slowed us all down with the wrenches it has thrown into things.
I hope to get us a developer response one way or the other soon.
Cheers, Joe

Greetings Joe,
It appears that I am having a little trouble getting lead developer participation on this particular thread with our yes or no answer though I personally believe it cannot be done within a single subscription and if it can be done, it will need significant custom coding.
Still awaiting lead developer input here.
Cheers, Joe

Not sure what the status of this thread is as the original post seems to suggest that it's resolved and working now.

Hi Barry,
It was partly solved, but not the section for giving the choice.

Ah, right - i can't the mention of choice in that first post - want to clarify what you mean? If you have two subscriptions with 2 prices and 2 expiration periods, then aren't they showing on the signup form and giving a choice? Or am I assuming a different problem.

Ah, didn't see that.
I'm going to have to take a look at this again, as reading what I wrote there has totally confused me, so I have no idea how you could understand it.

Greetings Joe,
Thank you for feedback, it is appreciated.
I think Barry was asking if you indeed had two different subscriptions, one for monthly and one for yearly.
I further think that Barry missed it that you wanted to somehow combine them into one subscription so to speak but with a choice of term i.e. monthly, yearly.
Please advise.
