When I activated the Directory Plug-in I went to setting and in the Capabilities Settings section directory member paid and
directory member Not Paid is not there When I activated online it was there.
also none of the default setting for the groups are set I had to pick all for admin save and reload to see everything
I deleted and reinstalled WordPress and the same thing happened is it a Wamp Problem?
Also
Activated the Default Theme copied to the themes folder and there is no preview picture and the theme does not activate tried a few times, then it activated
Found More
When adding Listing from the front End and adding the featured Image there is no option presented to use as Featured image.

Reinstalled WordPress on my Online test site 3aliens.net
installed directory Version 2.1.1.4
Activated the Plugin
Setup Paypal sandbox
Setup and saved Payment Prices Checked Capabilities Settings
Upload is the only thing for all groups
Had to check all boxes for admin to see everything
and No Paid Groups added like the other install I originally had on line

Hi there!
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what you are having trouble with.
I'm gathering that you are having trouble with Directory on your local install? The User Roles for Paid and Not Paid are created in WP roles when the plugin in activated.
I will see if I can get the developer to comment here on how working on a local install would affect Directory's behavior.

Installed locally and have the same problem
Activated directory and it did not create the two user levels for directory payments.

Copy what you have on that machine to the others and deactivate and reactivate it. I need to do some work on a official release to get it right.
