I have it on mine, but wanting to make sure it runs okay before I start installing it on a bunch of sites. When you activate the plugin, it says "You need to upgrade your database to continue." I am not sure what it is doing on this step, but I did "upgrade" on one site and it works ok it seems.
Anybody implemented this plugin on a larger scale? Is it stable?

Are you talking about the "update" from the super admin panel?
If so, I did use that and it said that it updated all the sites, but when I go to activate the plugin, it still says that I have to update the database.
