Hi:
I'm unclear if this plugin (and the post + comment indexer plugins as well for that matter) adds database tables or data to existing tables, thereby increasing DB size and activity significantly? We have a 3000 blog/user multi-site setup, so maintaining performance is a concern.
Thanks!

Hi ds281,
It's actually the Post Indexer plugin that manages and adds in content/data to the database and it creates a database table of its own, wp_site_posts, where content is indexed and easily accessed by the other plugins like Global Site Search.
As such, the size of the database will increase with its use, as it's essentially replicating content for network use.
Hope this helps!
