I just downloaded this plugin, and the only thing in the zip file is the simple-sitemaps folder. I see there should be other files there, please advise. Thanks.

WHat are you using to unzip? I see the files fine.

im using the standard windows unzip, like i do for all the other files. even if i just double click on the zip file to see whats inside without actually unzipping, thats all i can see. I know i downloaded this plugin in the past and didnt have this problem, but ive since deleted it.

The files are in that folder. If you unzip
It you should see them fine.
Generally we recommend using another unzipping program like the free 7-zip though.

i redownloaded and tried in 7-zip. still no luck. Can i somehow get the files separately?

Did you try just uploading the plugin zip via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload?
I promise the files are in that folder ;-)

ok...i think im catching on here now. when i had last downloaded this, there was an all-in-one SEO aspect to it, not just the sitemap stuff...is that no longer part of the plugin?

I pulled it out of this release as it had some major problems, and considering the imminent release of this:

so I can use the new part of the sitemaps and keep using the old SEO part too?
the issue I see is that your update notification plugin tells me I should update and then I end up without the SEO part, thats not cool!
There should at least be a hint stating this!
