I have categories, tags, custom excerpts all hidden on easy blogging but they are still showing for sub site admins. I tried hiding them from screen options also but they still show. How do I fix?
It used to work. I am now on wordpress 3.4.1 and use easy blogging 3.2.1.
the only other change that I can think of is that I installed ultimate branding plugin but I don't see where that would affect these items.

Clarification- It looks like easy blogging is hiding categories, excerpts etc for regular posts but I need it to hide items for custom posts such as marketpress categories. Does it do this? And if not how do I get easy blogging to hide items in custom posts?

Hi,
The latest plugin release (v3.2.2, just released) includes an add on named "Control Product metaboxes" that will allow you to control which metaboxes will be available for your MarketPress Products too.

Have you checked for a conflict with any other plugins? Perhaps the Ultimate Branding as you mentioned?
If you can possibly deactivate all of the other plugins to see if you can get it to work then we will know if it is indeed a plugin conflict.
The conflicts are not always obvious and don't always make sense :) Best to check regardless :)

There is no way at current to do this out of the box. However I think it would be a great feature.
Let's see if we can move this one into feature requests!
