so.... the right now widget we can remove and maybe we should code up another one.
I wanted to put this out there as there seems to be no direct answers.
What is the BEST way to remove the:
Theme StudioBlue with 2 Widgets
You are using WordPress 3.4.
for instance I don't like the fact the customer gets to see that :)

Greetings bonmaklad,
That is your option - go for it.
If you are indeed removing right now as mentioned above, these two items no longer exist making this a moot point.
If not removing this then I would use the Network Wide Text Change option to change this text to what you want.
There is always hard coding too in which you can remove this.
WordPress root folder then /includes/update.php around line 140 for the Word Press version line and then /includes/dashboard.php for the theme and widget entry around line 383

Helllo bonmaklad,
To add my tuppence worth, an alternative to Joe's solution is this.
You can probably try using Ultimate Branding itself.
1. Enable Custom Admin CSS
2. Put in there the following code.
a) To disable the lot (theme used, # of widgets, WP version, engines blocked):
OR b) Just the WP version:
Hope that helps. I personally find it easier to use anyway.
Please let us know how it goes,

Sorry. That could be a different story
But.... Solution a) hides the lot....
This is what you are looking for. Isn't it?

Greetings bonmaklad,
Thank you for the question though this involves custom coding as provided by marikamitsos and obviously unsupported by WPMU DEV which custom coding is beyond the scope of the support we provide here but we do try to help if we can.
With that said, I will invite @marikamitsos to possibly come back in here and expand on the custom coding if they so desire.
Cheers, Joe
