Very frustrated.
We have installed and using Global Site Search and Post Indexer very successfully. No problems, but we need RSS for our network of 10 sites.
We are only using WPMU plugins and only a few basic ones
The prloblems- After successful installation of any:
- Recent Global Posts Feed
- Recent Global Tags
We attempt to activate "Network wide", and get this message:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../wp-load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /mnt/stor1-wc2-dfw1/470380/www.oursitexxx.org/web/content/wp-content/plugins/recent-global-posts-feed/recent-global-posts-feed.php on line 28
Any further attempts completely lock up the sites until we delete the plugins from the entire network.
What must we do to correct this? Any suggestions welcome.

Hiya!
If you use any other plugin do you get this same message or is it only with these two?
Have you tried activating these two after de-activating all others?
Also, what version of WordPress are you using?

Hi Phil,
The only two plugins that give this error message are those I've listed above. I just tested it again with other plugins and new plugins have no issues.
I de-actived all plugins again; then attempted to install one of the above listed and got the same error message again.
All sites and functions of the Network are excellent, ...until I attempt to install either of those two plugins. Very unusual.

I'm really surprized no one can offer support on these two plugins...

Hiya ecogreen,
This plugin actually requires one additional step of moving the widget-recent-global-posts-feed.php file to /wp-content/mu-plugins/ as mentioned in the installation page:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/recent-global-posts-feed/installation/
Seems that's where the error is deriving from. Moving that file should sort that for ya!
Cheers,
David

@DavidM - This is the same error I'm getting & I've checked to confirm that those files are in the right locations. I strongly suspect this is directly related to WPMUDEV plugin incompatibilites with each other. I've mentioned it on another thread I just posted here
Maybe this will assist in snuffing this bugger out ; )
