Hi all,
As the subject suggest I get a "Failure: 1" in a red error box when saving actions? What does this mean, the actions still seem to be added. Should I be worried?
I also wanted to ask how this plugin works, does it tie in with WP's own cron system?

yepper it ties in with wp-cron to time when to send.
I am not sure about the need to worry about the error message you get - but you can create a test account to test the message to see if it is coming out alright :-)

automessage doesn't use wp-cron it has it's own scheduler.

Can you pop up a screenshot - I can't find the message "failure" anywhere in the automessage code, so am curious as to what is actually generating that error.
OK cool so do I need to do anything server side? My host has trouble running wp-cron automagically so I have to set up a cron job server side to run it.
Mmmm I would give you a screenshot but its not producing the error anymore. But it literally was just "Failure 1" in a red box (like the usual yellow one you get but red).
Im sure it did it for the first two actions I posted in User Level Messages but I just posted a third to hopefully get the error screenshot for you but to no avail.
Could it have been some weird WP error message if its not contained within the plugin?

automessage doesn't use wp-cron it relies on traffic to your website and handles sending based on that.

I've never seen it before, so I doubt it - it could be on another plugin - what are you currently running?

Hiya!
Hmm, that's not a very helpful error message. I couldn't actually find it in the plugin though so not sure where it's coming from.
Let me see if the developer has any ideas...
Thanks,
Phil

Christ what am I not running! Probably about all the buddypress plugins found on this site and quite a few more!!
Could be a dodgey conflict somewhere then I spose. I will grab a screenshot if it happens again.
