Hi all,
I've just installed the directory plugin, set up a few test categories and now I've got some problems;
1. Every time I visit a category, this error message appears:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function dp_get_taxonomy_vars() in /wp-content/plugins/directory/themes/default/taxonomy.php on line 12
2. Some sub-categories don't appear on the main page
Can anyone help? The url of the directory is myashford[dot]com /business/

Hi jamesi and first off, welcome to WPMU DEV!
Taking a look at the site, it doesn't look like you're using the Directory plugin from here on the site. Have you deactivated it by any chance?
I also noticed you're using default permalinks. For the Directory plugin, and very likely for any other directory or similar plugin, you'd have to use other than default permalinks.
You can set that at Settings > Permalinks, specifying anything other than the first option there.

Hi David,
I wanted to use the 2.0 Beta 6 version. I've tried all permalink settings (Default, Day and name, Month and name etc) and am now trying /%category%/%postname%/
It still doesn't work. The url is myashford.com/business

Hi jamesi,
That appears to be a Multisite where you've got Directory setup in a sub-site, is that correct? Currently, Directory would work through the main site and would require some customization to work on a sub-site.
Not totally sure if that's the case so if you could verify that we can have a look at some possibilities.
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
Thanks for the quick reply. It is on a sub directory, but it's a totally new install - not a multi site installation.

@DavidM Thanks for the replay, In my case the website was installed in a directory and was not redirecting correctly...

No solutions to this?
Does it turn out that it can't be used on sub domains?

I've got the same problem here and it's driving me nuts! So much so I'm looking for another plugin to use for my directory!
Here's the error when I click on either a main category or sub category. http://www.rcmodelresource.com/listings-category/shops/
I'm using the latest Beta version of the plugin as I needed free listings capabilities. I've tried every permalink setting and it's refuses to work. It's currently set to custom permalink with just /%postname%/ in the box.
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thanks
Justin

Similar situation. I have it installed on multisite and am using it on a subsite... getting the Call to undefined function dp_get_taxonomy_vars() error. Using Beta 6

@drift2, I've just pinged the developer on this. We have an updated version we're testing internally and hope to have it released asap.
Thanks!
