bloggersdelight,
Hi there :)
Perhaps you can double check your API settings in the Plugin, just to make sure everything is connected. You will also have to make sure you grant extended permissions.

I'm having the same issue. When you click on the Facebook link, it opens a pop up that says "An error has occurred. Please try again later. I checked my FB developer settings along with the ID/secret keys and still no go.

Hello,
If you're already using scripts from Facebook (for, say, a "Like" button and such), this could also be a part of the reason why you're experiencing issues. Have you tried the alternative Facebook initialization add-on, as Kimberly suggested? Also, if you're already connecting to a Facebook App on your pages, you should really use the same App. If neither of these help, can you please share a link to the page with the issue so I can take a look myself?

Can you verify your settings for me?
Best,

Hey Kimberly,
Yes, I have just checked, everything is set correctly. Extended permissions, where do I set that?
Thanks

Sure we have the same plugin? I can't find a menu called "facebook".

Oh so sorry!
I'm looking at Ultimate Facebook :) I should really stop staying up so late working :)
Is this the same URL you have setup in the Facebook Application?
I am assuming that nothing happens when you click the Facebook Login?
Do you have any other plugins that operate with Facebook in any way?
You can try using the Alternative Facebook Initialization add-on
Again my apologies for the mixup!

Sorry.. just been on a vacation, unfortunately that didn't fix the problem ;-)
@KimberlyL: Yes, nothing happens when I click. Just blank, and no, none other plugins.
